Youth and Family Faith Details
Nurturing a family of faith is not a spectator sport. We recognize the calling of parents as primary educators and role models to their children. We partner with and support parents to help them engage their families to learn and share their faith.
What does Youth & Family Faith include?
Youth Formation Classes are offered:
K - 6th grade
Sunday 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM
Monday 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM
7th - 8th grade/Confirmation Preparation
Sunday 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM
Note: Class days/times are subject to change based on enrollment and available volunteers. Calendars will be available at registration.
Family Faith Formation Sessions: Over the course of the year, there will be two family-centered faith formation sessions and one family service project.
Launch and Lift Youth Ministry: All 3rd – 8th grade students are encouraged to attend Launch and Lift Youth Ministry. Launch and Lift meets one Friday each month for fun, food & fellowship.
Parent Formation: Parents with students in Year 2 sacrament preparation for First Communion or Confirmation will be required to attend specific parent meetings and activities. Additionally, all parents are encouraged to attend ongoing formation opportunities held throughout the year.
Sacrament Preparation: Sacramental preparation for First Communion and Confirmation is a consecutive two-year process, typically beginning in the 1st grade (Communion) and 7th grade (Confirmation).
Registration Fees:
Youth & Family Faith: $80 per student
Sacrament Preparation (Year 2): additional $50 per student -
