What is the ministry of Praying Hands?
SS. Peter & Paul Praying Hands is a prayer ministry of the parish. Willing members of our parish community will pray privately for the intentions of others. It is a way for people to gain God's assistance through prayer in any need by permitting an intercessory to pray on their behalf as Jesus prayed.
Intercessory prayer is always a petition for the interests or the needs of others. It is an effective way to share in a communal experience by acknowledging the needs of others and praying for them. In return, the one prayed for is comforted by knowing that others are praying for them.
"As you help us with prayer, so that thanks may be given by many on our behalf for the gift granted us through the prayers of many". (2 Corinthians 1:11).
Anyone who is willing to pray for others can register to join the group by filling out the form below.
