I was born in Rochester, New York and my family relocated to California during my freshman year of high school. I have two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. We grew up in a happy, loving, faith filled home. I have many childhood memories that I hold close to my heart.
Although my husband, Mike, and I went to the same high school, it wasn't until after college that we met. I attended California State University in Chico and majored in Liberal Studies in hopes of becoming a teacher. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career with the YMCA. I had been a camp director for the YMCA during college and felt that this was an opportunity to continue youth work in my community. After nine years with the YMCA it was time to stay home to raise our family. We have four beautiful adult children, Zach, Nick, Kayla and Noah. All are very different but each makes our family truly complete. I feel very fortunate and spending time together as a family is what I value most.
In 2003, my family moved to Rocklin. Prior to joining the SS. Peter & Paul staff, I was an Instructional Aide for a local elementary school in Rocklin. I volunteered for seven years as a Catechist at SS. Peter & Paul Church before joining the staff in 2010. I feel both honored and blessed to be a part of our faith community at SS. Peter & Paul. I am called each day to share my faith and the gifts God has given me with our parish family.
