We are one human family and the needs of one affect us all.
2021 LENTEN PROJECT—HOME FOR A POOR INDIAN FAMILY! Individually and collectively we join many agencies to help the needy. However, this year, additionally, will you be able to help a poor family directly as a SSPP Parish Community? Please join me this lent to help build a home for a poor family in India! The family is Mr. & Mrs. Kambolathu and they have four school-age girls. This family has been selected by one of my priest friends and it has come to my attention that I know Mr. Kambolathu from my past parish in India when I was there from 1997-2000. The Kambolathu’s share a tiny home with Mrs. Kambolathu’s parents. Many years ago, he was given a piece of land as a share from his wife’s family but cannot afford build a home as he is struggling daily to make ends meet. His wage as an auto-rickshaw (motorized tri-wheel passenger vehicle) driver is very meager. If we could raise $10,000 they could have a home of their own. Please prayerfully consider this Lenten project to help this family. You can use the donation form below. Or, you can put a check in an envelope marked INDIA HOUSE PROJECT and put it in the collection at Mass. You can also send a check directly to the Parish Office indicating it is for this project. Thank you in advance for your generosity. God Bless, Fr. Bony
