There are three liturgical roles that connect directly to Audio and Visual Technology
Projectionists help the community follow along with prayers and song as we celebrate Mass. PowerPoint slides are projected overhead from a laptop. Arriving 15-20 minutes before Mass is required. Those whom understand the flow and timing of Mass are good candidates.
Slide Authors review the Mass Plans from Music Directors to build the slides for a weekly Mass. This role can be done remotely with all the tools provided. You just need internet access and computer. Experience with PowerPoint is helpful but not necessary. Attention to detail is very helpful. Weekly effort is 30-60 minutes.
Livestream Production lends itself to someone whom understands the flow and timing of Mass. If you understand podcasting or streaming in general the technology is the same. The Parish streams the Sunday 9am Mass weekly. Candidates should arrive 30 minutes before the start of mass.
